What is Dry Needling?

 Dry needling is a skilled intervention that uses a thin liform needle to penetrate the skin and stimulate underlying myofascial trigger points, muscular, and connective tissues for the management of neu- romusculoskeletal pain and movement impairments. 

 

 

Functional Dry Needling, (FDN) was developed for the purpose of restoring function.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Is Dry Needling Acupuncture?

The short answer is no, DN is not acupuncture.

Would Functional Dry Needling work for me?
